"Just have one of your own already!"

Rachel, LiLu's friend, posted the above quote on a picture of LiLu holding the same little baby in a different picture. So, meet Brian, our NEPHEW.

It seems like the moment we left the altar people ask this same basic question, "When are you going to have a little one?" The standard answer will be, "Not now." In the meantime, we have been taking advantage of Brian because he conviently lives upstairs. Brian is a laidback little baby that we love holding until he cries, then we just pass him off to one of his parents. Its a role nothing different from a grandparent.

Lisa's Mom knows how much Lisa likes holding the little man, so on a facebook photo she posted, "Get your own grandkids, Lisa!"

Kiki, my Mom, made a declaration to LiLu that she wants to have, "In-state grandkids." She made this declaration in-lieu of her trip to Chicago to visit grandkid #2. So, while others can't wait to spoil our future kids, we will have fun spoiling someone else's little treasures.

The Jump into Blogosphere

For the past few years, I have been an avid follower of my quick-witted sister's blog, the MoJotopia, and after reading many brilliant posts over the years, its time for Spencer's world.

To make this chaotic universe work, I actually have to start taking photographs more often. While I dated LiLu, my wife, she confiscated my camera citing the inexcusable lack of mission photos. I had one or two envelopes, she had three or four photo albums,

I don't have an explanation for my weak desire to take pictures, but an easy and illogical explanation is that I am just complementing Mo, my sister, in another way. She graduated with a degree in photography, while my wife took my camera. Mo and I are only 14 months apart in age, but that is as close as it gets as far as personality similarities. We do share some Lercher traits like the sharing of frequent bodily function jokes and the desire to cook and eat good food, but for the most part, we are quite different. So this blog will motivate me to show the people of Earth Spencer's world through pictures and brilliant prose.
